Question: "I have this cold which
is hanging on over 4 weeks now, do I need to be checked and what
can I take?"
Answer: Many patients have a secondary bacterial
infection superimposed on the underlying viral illness, so we are
happy to check you or family members, on any day. Otherwise time
and Advil Cold and Sinus seem to work about the best.
Question: "Can anyone be seen
at your clinic?"
Answer: Yes, we are a normal medical clinic, but
you do need a valid card with you or some security has to be taken.
We are happy to send a copy of the findings to your regular Family
Doctor if you wish. If you do not have one we are quite happy to
look after all your needs on an ongoing basis and you may see any
of the doctors here, some take bookings for procedures but we still
like to keep the "walk-in" concept for rapid service"
Question: Is
Sars again a concern?"
Answer: A serious respiratory illness in anyone who
has been to China recently or had contact with someone who has had
a history of travel in the past 10 days, needs checking out, with
full cough precautions and hand washing until seen at least. See links

Question: Because
of Avian Flu, is there more reason to get a flu shot?"
Answer: Yes, it would appear so at present.
